Congratulations to Shaun for passing his trials guide exam and achieving an excellent 93%. He also passed the advanced rifle handling assessment and the practical assessment approaching and viewing potentially dangerous game on foot.

This all helps and ensures that guests to Pondoro gets the best possible bush experience and keeps Pondoro firmly entrenched amongst the top lodges in South Africa.



All the Big 5 were seen regularly including some very good sightings of leopard. We also managed to show all the Big 5 to guests during bush walks, which is a first for the lodge.

Saw 2 young lionesses feed on a freshly killed impala at Ntaba road.
