Bateleur self catering camp lies in Balule Private Nature Reserve on the border of the famed Kruger National Park in South Africa. Bateleur is about six hours drive from the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
The closest town to Bateleur is Hoedspruit, which is about an hour’s drive away from the lodge. On entering Balule Private Nature Reserve from the R40, the lodge is easy to find and access is via good dirt roads. Three airports are within easy travelling distance of Bateleur, namely Eastgate Airport (Hoedspruit), Phalaborwa Airport and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit). Bateleur Self catering camp is also only about seventy five minutes drive away from both the Orpen and Phalaborwa entrance gates to the Kruger National Park. |
