 With thatched chalets set around a grassy lawn and a swimming pool, the camp sleeps a maximum of ten people. Three of the chalets are en suite, while two of the rooms, which are ideal for a family, share a bathroom. All the units are air conditioned. The peaceful atmosphere of the camp is enhanced by the simple but stylish décor in the chalets, and the burbling of the Olifants River as it passes over the rapids below the camp adds to the serenity of the location. The camp is fully serviced, and the large farmhouse-style kitchen has everything necessary for preparing meals, which can be eaten outside on the shady veranda. No South African safari is complete without a braai, and a boma and a large bar add to the charming layout of the camp. As the camp is only available to one group at a time, you can be sure that any voices you hear are only those that you want to hear. |
